SFP kábel BlueOptics SFP-25G-D-AOC-15M-BO 15 m SFP28 samec/samec

The BlueOptics SFP-25G-D-AOC-15M-BO is a 15 metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for reliable 25 Gigabit data transmission. Its pre-terminated SFP28 male-to-male configuration delivers a compact, low-latency connection suitable for high-density networking environments such as server rooms and data centres. The cable combines optical signalling with a flexible, lightweight jacket to support easy routing and reduced cable management complexity.

Advantages

Active optical technology provides high bandwidth over a 15 m reach while maintaining low power consumption and signal integrity. The SFP28 male connectors ensure direct compatibility with SFP28 ports, allowing hot-pluggable installation without additional transceivers. The cable's flexible construction simplifies installation in crowded racks and helps maintain consistent performance in demanding network setups.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links within data centres
• High-performance computing clusters and storage area networks (SAN)
• Top-of-rack and end-of-row cabling in enterprise networks
• Low-latency connections for virtualized environments and hyperconverged infrastructure

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 male to SFP28 male
• Data rate: 25 Gbit/s per lane (SFP28 standard)
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Length: 15 metres
• Operating mode: Duplex optical link
• Jacket: flexible, lightweight optical fibre jacket for rack routing
• Power: integrated optical/electrical components for active signal conditioning

How to use

Install the AOC by inserting each SFP28 male connector into the corresponding SFP28 port until it latches. Ensure devices are powered and configured to support 25 Gbit/s links. No additional transceiver modules are required. For best results, verify link status through connected devices and check that firmware and interface settings match the intended data rate and duplex mode.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radii. Use cable management paths in racks to reduce stress on connectors and preserve optical performance. Confirm compatibility with switch and server port firmware; if link negotiation issues occur, check device settings and replace with a different port or update drivers as needed.
