SFP kábel BlueOptics SFP-25G-D-AOC-5M-H-BO 5m SFP28 konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP-25G-D-AOC-5M-H-BO is a 5m active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends, engineered for 25G high-speed data transmission over multimode fiber. Designed according to MSA SFP28 form-factor standards, this AOC integrates optical transmitter and receiver modules on each end and supports common protocols used in data center and high-performance computing environments. The cable is intended for direct connectivity between SFP28 ports on switches, routers and storage systems where low latency and reliable short-reach optical links are required.

Advantages

The BlueOptics 5m AOC provides a plug-and-play optical connection without the need for separate transceivers, patch cords or additional fiber termination. As an active cable it delivers stable 25G performance with simultaneous transmit and receive capability through SFP28-to-SFP28 connectivity, and includes digital diagnostics support for monitoring key operating parameters. The enclosed multimode optical design reduces susceptibility to electromagnetic interference and simplifies installation in dense rack environments.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics 5m SFP28 AOC by inserting each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on your networking equipment until the connector latches. Ensure devices are powered and recognize SFP28 modules; consult the host device manual for any vendor-specific settings related to active optical cables. Use management interfaces to read diagnostic parameters if DDM/DOM monitoring is required. When removing the cable, release the latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the port.

Recommendations

Place and route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain; follow the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment vendor. Verify that the connected hardware supports active AOCs and DDM/DOM if remote diagnostics are needed. For optimal reliability, keep connectors and port interfaces free of dust and handle the cable by the connector housings during insertion and removal.
