SFP+ kábel BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-LE-BO 25m samec/samec

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-LE-BO is a 25-metre SFP+ active optical cable engineered for reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections. With male SFP+ connectors at both ends, this AOC provides a factory-terminated fibre link that simplifies deployment between SFP+ ports in switches, routers and servers. The cable is intended for short to medium reach interconnects in data centres and enterprise network racks where low latency and minimal signal degradation are required.

Advantages

This active optical cable combines the bandwidth of 10 Gbps transmission with the immunity to electromagnetic interference inherent to fibre optics, reducing susceptibility to crosstalk in dense cabling environments. Its pre-terminated male SFP+ connectors remove the need for field splicing or separate transceivers, allowing plug-and-play installation. The 25 metre length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and intra-rack connections while keeping insertion loss and latency low for predictable performance.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting SFP+ ports on switches and routers within data centres
• Connecting servers to top-of-rack or aggregation switches
• Short-distance fibre links in enterprise network closets and communication rooms

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Length: 25 metres
• Data rate: 10 Gbps
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Transmission medium: optical fibre (pre-terminated)
• Typical use case: short to medium reach interconnects

How to use

Insert each male SFP+ connector into compatible SFP+ ports on the network devices until the latch engages. No additional transceivers or patch panels are required because the cable is factory-terminated and active. Verify link status on connected devices and confirm the negotiated 10 Gbps link speed where applicable. Avoid sharp bends and secure the cable to rack frames or cable management pathways to maintain minimum bend radius and prevent mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For optimal operation, route the cable away from sources of physical damage and maintain a bend radius consistent with the manufacturer’s specifications. Use SFP+ ports that support active optical cables and check device firmware or compatibility lists if link negotiation issues occur. Regularly inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness; clean with appropriate fibre-optic cleaning tools if required.
