SFP+ kábel BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-NK-BO 25m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-NK-BO 25m Male/Male is an active optical cable engineered for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links between SFP+ ports. With a 25-metre length and SFP+ male connectors on both ends, this AOC provides a low-latency, electrically passive fibre alternative to copper twinax for short-to-medium distance interconnects in racks and across equipment rows. The cable design reduces electromagnetic interference and maintains signal integrity for data centre and high-performance networking environments.

Advantages

This active optical cable supports 10 Gbps data rates with low power consumption and consistent performance over its full 25 m length. The integrated transceivers eliminate the need for separate modules, simplifying installation and reducing component count. Lightweight and flexible construction eases cable routing and management while the optical medium offers immunity to electromagnetic interference and galvanic isolation between devices.

Suitable for

• Inter-rack and intra-rack 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in data centres
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch uplinks using SFP+ ports
• High-performance networking equipment requiring low-latency links
• Environments where electrical isolation and reduced EMI are beneficial

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Data rate: 10 Gbps
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Length: 25 metres
• Form factor: Integrated duplex optical link with transceivers
• Typical use: Short-to-medium reach interconnects within data centre and networking racks

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-NK-BO by inserting each SFP+ end into compatible SFP+ ports on networking devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support SFP+ AOC connections and that link settings on switches or servers are configured for 10 Gbps operation if required. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain, keeping it within recommended bend-radius limits to preserve optical performance. No separate transceiver modules or fibre termination tools are required.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, verify firmware and compatibility lists on network equipment before deployment and avoid tight bends or crushing of the cable. Use this AOC for connections up to 25 m within racks or between adjacent racks; for longer distances consider appropriate multimode or singlemode fibre solutions.
