SFP+ kábel BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-SW-BO 25m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-SW-BO is a 25 metre SFP+ active optical cable engineered for reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet interconnects. With male SFP+ connectors on both ends, this single cable supports high-bandwidth, low-latency links between switches, servers and storage units in data centre and enterprise network environments. The fibre-based active design provides consistent signal integrity over longer distances compared with copper direct-attach alternatives.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers 10 Gbps data throughput with reduced electromagnetic interference and lower power consumption than many legacy copper assemblies. Its fixed-length, integrated transceiver modules simplify deployment by eliminating separate SFP+ modules and patch cords. The lightweight, flexible cable construction eases cable management in dense racks while maintaining stable performance for high-speed uplinks and server-to-switch connections.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links between switches and servers
• Top-of-rack and end-of-row data centre connections
• Interconnects for SAN and NAS storage systems
• High-performance computing clusters and virtualization hosts

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Length: 25 m
• Data rate: 10 Gbps
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC)
• Transmission medium: Optical fibre with integrated transceivers
• Typical application: Short-reach data centre interconnects

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support SFP+ active optical cable connections and that ports are configured for 10 Gbps operation. No separate transceiver modules or patch panels are required; treat the assembly as a single fixed-length cable. Verify link status on connected devices and check interface statistics to confirm error-free operation.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Use rack management accessories to secure and separate optical cables from high-heat components. For mixed-vendor environments, confirm compatibility of SFP+ AOC assemblies with switch and server firmware to prevent link negotiation issues.
