ShiverPeaks 25-pólový Sub-D predlžovací kábel 25-pólový konektor samec na 25-pólový konektor samica so zacvakávacími krytkami, 1,8 m

Extension serial cable ShiverPeaks 25-pin Sub-D extension 25-pin male to 25-pin female with snap hoods, 1.8 m is designed to extend existing 25-pin D-Sub serial connections. The cable provides a straightforward physical extension between devices that use the 25-pin Sub-D (D-Sub) interface and includes snap-on hoods that secure the mating connectors for stable retention. With a length of 1.8 m, this cable allows flexible placement of equipment while maintaining a standard serial link suitable for RS-232 and other legacy 25-pin Sub-D applications.

Advantages

This ShiverPeaks 25-pin Sub-D extension cable combines a conventional 25-pin male-to-female wiring with snap hoods for reliable mechanical retention. The 1.8 m length balances reach and cable management without introducing unnecessary slack. The use of standard 25-pin Sub-D connectors ensures compatibility with a wide range of industrial equipment, CNC controllers, legacy PCs and peripheral devices that expect a D-Sub 25-pin interface.

Suitable for

• Extending RS-232 serial connections between devices
• Connecting industrial control equipment and CNC controllers
• Linking legacy PCs and peripheral devices with 25-pin D-Sub ports
• Temporary or semi-permanent equipment setup where connector retention is required

Key specifications

• Connector A: 25-pin Sub-D (D-Sub) male
• Connector B: 25-pin Sub-D (D-Sub) female
• Connector retention: snap-on hoods for secure mating
• Cable length: 1.8 m
• Intended interface: 25-pin serial (D-Sub 25) applications, e.g., RS-232 and compatible signals

How to use

To use the extension cable, align the 25-pin male connector with the device's 25-pin female port and gently insert until the connector seats. Attach the snap-on hood to secure the connection and prevent accidental disconnection. On the other end, plug the 25-pin female connector onto the corresponding male connector of the other device and engage the snap hood. Verify signal continuity by powering the equipment and checking serial communication as appropriate for the connected devices.

Recommendations

Use this cable for extending existing 25-pin serial links in environments where mechanical retention is helpful. Avoid routing the cable near high-voltage or high-frequency sources to reduce interference. For best results, maintain gentle bends and secure cable routing to prevent strain on connectors.
