Sieťový kábel S/CONN 08-64070 sivý 10 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-64070 Grey 10 m Cat6 S/FTP is a 10-meter Cat6 patch cable designed for reliable wired network connections. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts for consistent signal transmission. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for home and professional network installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding offers improved resistance to crosstalk and external electromagnetic disturbances compared with unshielded cables, supporting stable data transfer in environments with multiple electronic devices. The Cat6 specification enables higher bandwidth and better performance for gigabit Ethernet and other high-speed applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure corrosion resistance and reliable connector-to-port contact over repeated insertions.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in home networks
• Wired office networks and small business LANs
• Connecting routers, switches, NAS devices, and desktop computers
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Length: 10 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer jacket color: Grey
• Suitable for: Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed network links

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your router, switch, modem, or networked device and the other end to the corresponding port on a computer, NAS, or network appliance. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heavy compression; maintain gentle bends with a radius larger than the cable diameter to preserve performance. For rack or wall installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without over-tightening.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable in mixed-device environments or where electromagnetic interference is present to benefit from improved signal integrity. For maximum performance, pair the cable with Cat6-compatible ports and equipment. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for long distances to reduce potential interference.
