Sieťový kábel S/CONN 08-82035007 500m Cat7 S/FTP oranžový

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-82035007 500m Cat7 S/FTP in orange is a high-performance structured cabling solution designed for demanding Ethernet installations. This Cat7 cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and features S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Supplied on a 500 meter reel, the orange jacket provides clear visual identification in patch rooms, cable trays and multi-cable bundles.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to deliver enhanced protection against external noise and improved pair-to-pair isolation. Support for 10 Gbit/s-class networks makes the cable suitable for high-bandwidth applications while the 500 m reel reduces the need for frequent joins in long runs. The orange jacket improves traceability during installation and maintenance and the cable is constructed to meet the physical requirements of structured network deployments.

Suitable for

• Backbone and horizontal cabling in data centers and server rooms
• High-speed Ethernet networks up to 10 Gbit/s
• Environments with significant electromagnetic interference
• Long continuous runs where a 500 m reel reduces splices

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (braided overall shield + foil around each pair)
• Nominal length: 500 m
• Data transfer rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Outer jacket color: orange

How to use

Route the cable along planned pathways, avoiding sharp bends and sources of heat. Terminate the cable with compatible Cat7 connectors or use appropriate keystone jacks rated for S/FTP cable; ensure the braid and foil shields are correctly connected to the grounding point during termination. For long runs, support the cable at regular intervals and maintain the recommended bend radius specified by the connector manufacturer to preserve signal integrity. When pulling from the reel, unwind carefully to prevent twists and kinks.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable with network equipment and connectors rated for Cat7 or higher and ensure proper grounding of the shield. Test each run with suitable certification tools after installation to verify bandwidth and shielding continuity, and label the orange runs clearly in documentation and rack diagrams for easier maintenance.
