Sieťový kábel S/CONN 3 m Cat. 5e SF/UTP RJ45

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 3m Cat. 5e SF/UTP RJ45 is a 3‑metre ethernet patch cable designed for wired network connections up to 1000 Mbit/s. The grey cable uses Category 5e specification with SF/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity over short to medium distances. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors compatible with switches, routers, modems, network cards and patch panels.

Advantages

The SF/UTP construction combines an overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs to provide improved protection against external noise while maintaining flexibility and ease of installation. Cat 5e wiring supports gigabit Ethernet performance for most home and office networking needs. The fixed 3 m length offers a balance between reach and neat cable management and the molded connector boots reduce strain on the cable ends for longer service life.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, printers and networked devices to a switch or router
• Patching between wall outlets and network equipment in small offices or home networks
• Temporary and permanent installations where moderate shielding is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 5e (Category 5e)
• Length: 3 m
• Throughput: up to 1000 Mbit/s (gigabit Ethernet)
• Shielding: SF/UTP (overall foil shield, unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: grey

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector firmly into the Ethernet port of your device or network equipment until it clicks. Ensure both ends are properly seated: one end to the device and the other to a switch, router or wall outlet. Avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain a gentle bend radius to preserve internal conductor integrity. For installations near strong sources of electromagnetic interference, route the cable away from power transformers and high-current wiring where possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 5e SF/UTP cable for connections within a 3 m distance where gigabit speeds are needed and moderate electromagnetic shielding is beneficial. Inspect connectors periodically and replace the cable if the connector latch or cable jacket shows visible damage.
