Sieťový kábel BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-10M-BO SFP+ InfiniBand 10m oranžový

The BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-10M-BO SFP+ InfiniBand 10m Orange is a 10-metre active optical cable designed for SFP+ ports. It provides a factory-terminated direct-attach solution for high-speed data transmission between compatible network devices. The cable uses SFP+ connectors on both ends and an orange jacket for straightforward visual identification in dense cabling environments, making it suitable for data centers and high-performance computing racks.

Advantages

This active optical cable offers low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity with the convenience of SFP+ form-factor plug-and-play installation. Being fiber-based, it reduces electromagnetic interference and heat generation compared with copper alternatives while supporting reliable short-range links. The bright orange colour improves cable management and reduces the risk of accidental disconnection or mispatching during maintenance.

Key specifications

How to use

Ensure both network devices have compatible SFP+ ports and are powered off or follow hot-swap guidelines from the device manufacturer. Align and insert the SFP+ connectors into the corresponding ports until they latch securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the optical fibre within the AOC requires gentle handling. After connection, verify link status indicators and perform any required interface configuration on the network devices.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable in a clean environment, avoid tight bends less than the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius, and label both ends if used in larger installations. Use the orange colour to separate InfiniBand or SFP+ AOC links from other cabling types for efficient maintenance and troubleshooting.
