Sieťový kábel BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-3M-BO SFP+ InfiniBand 3m oranžový

The BlueOptics SFP-XG-D-AOC-3M-BO SFP+ InfiniBand 3m Orange is a 3-metre active optical cable engineered for SFP+ ports. It provides a factory-terminated fiber link with male SFP+ connectors on both ends and an orange jacket for quick visual identification in racks and cabling bundles. Designed for high-density networking and data centre environments, this cable supports short-reach, high-bandwidth connections between switches, servers and storage devices where SFP+ form-factor interfaces are used.

Advantages

This active optical cable combines the electrical compatibility of SFP+ interfaces with the low-attenuation and EMI immunity of optical fiber. The fixed 3 m length offers a predictable link budget and simplified cable management. Male-to-male SFP+ terminations ensure direct insertion into compatible ports without additional transceivers, and the durable orange outer jacket improves traceability in complex installations. The cable is suited for environments that require consistent signal integrity and reduced space compared with bulky copper alternatives.

How to use

Ensure both devices support SFP+ AOC modules and that ports are powered down or hot-swap capable per equipment guidelines. Align each SFP+ connector with the corresponding port and insert until the latch engages. Verify link status via device LEDs or management software and confirm negotiated link speed. Route the cable to avoid tight bends: maintain the manufacturer-recommended bend radius and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Store and deploy the cable in a clean environment and avoid excessive bending or crushing. Use the orange jacket to maintain consistent color-coded topology documentation. When replacing or extending links, verify compatibility with the switches’ supported SFP+ AOC modules and confirm firmware or vendor restrictions before installation.
