Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1,5 m červený

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1.5 m Red networking cable is a shielded Ethernet patch cable designed for high-performance network connections. Constructed to support enhanced signal integrity, the cable uses S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction and is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Its 1.5 m length suits short runs between switches, patch panels and workstations, while the red jacket helps with color-coded cable management in racks and offices.

Advantages

The S/FTP structure provides both overall shielding and individual pair foil shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving transmission stability in dense or electrically noisy environments. The Cat 6a category supports higher frequencies and is suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances. The standardized RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common networking equipment, and the flexible jacket simplifies routing in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• Short-distance 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections between switches and servers
• Patch panel to switch or workstation connections in office environments
• Environments requiring color-coded cable organization and easy identification
• Installations where reduced interference and improved signal integrity are needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid/foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your switch, router or network card and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable for short link lengths up to the recommended distances for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, keep bend radius larger than the cable thickness, and avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or large electrical equipment. Use color-coded cables like this red variant to simplify maintenance and identification in patch panels and structured cabling systems.
