Sieťový kábel METZ CONNECT 13084G2033-E 2 m Cat6a S/FTP sivý

The METZ CONNECT 13084G2033-E 2m Cat6a S/FTP Grey networking cable is designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and point-to-point connections. Complying with Cat6a specifications, the cable supports up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet over its 2-meter length. The S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts provide consistent, low-resistance connections and corrosion resistance. The grey jacket offers a professional appearance suitable for office, server room, or home network setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction minimizes external noise and pair-to-pair interference, improving signal integrity for demanding network environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure stable mating with network ports and reduce contact wear over time. The Cat6a rating enables support for higher bandwidths and longer reliable runs for 10 Gbps applications within the cable's length. A 2-meter length provides flexibility for desktop-to-wall or rack-to-equipment connections without excess slack.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections over short runs (up to 2 m)
• Office workstations and desktop PCs
• Patch panels and network switches in server rooms
• Audio/video streaming and content delivery equipment
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 2 meters
• Color: Grey
• Bandwidth: Supports up to 500 MHz (Cat6a standard)
• Data rates: Suitable for 10 Gbps Ethernet over the supported distance

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port on your device (PC, switch, patch panel or other network equipment) and the other end to the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain minimum bend radius to preserve shielding performance. For permanent installations, avoid tight bundling with power cables to reduce the potential for interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for short, high-performance links where reduced electromagnetic interference is important. For runs longer than 2 meters, select an appropriately longer cable rated for Cat6a to maintain 10 Gbps performance. Inspect connectors periodically for wear and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors are damaged.
