Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks 08-86031003 S/CONN Cat. 8.2 100,0 m zelený

The ShiverPeaks 08-86031003 S/CONN Cat. 8.2 network cable is a high-performance S/FTP ethernet cable supplied on a 100.0 m spool in green. Designed to meet Cat. 8.2 specifications, this cable supports very high data rates and enhanced shielding to reduce interference in dense or demanding network environments. The GHMT certification indicates that the cable has been tested for compliance with relevant performance standards and provides consistent electrical and mechanical characteristics for professional and home installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braid with individually shielded pairs to provide strong protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Cat. 8.2 compliance enables support for high-frequency operation and shorter-latency links compared with lower categories, while the 100.0 m length on a single reel is convenient for longer runs and structured cabling projects. The green jacket makes identification easier in multi-cable installations and helps separate different network segments by color.

Suitable for

• High-speed server-to-switch connections in data centers and server rooms
• Structured cabling for enterprise and campus networks
• Bandwidth-intensive applications such as virtualization, large file transfers and streaming
• Professional network installations where shielded cable is required to minimise interference
• Longer horizontal runs in office or industrial environments where a single 100 m reel is advantageous

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat. 8.2
• Construction: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 100.0 m
• Colour: Green
• Conductor type: Copper (solid or stranded depending on termination method)
• Suitable for high-frequency operation and short-range multi-gigabit links
• Designed for professional and residential structured cabling

How to use

Plan the cable route and measure required run lengths before unspooling to avoid unnecessary bending or kinking. Terminate the cable with connectors and patch panels compatible with Cat. 8.2 and S/FTP shielded construction, ensuring proper grounding of the overall braid and maintaining the shield continuity at connection points. Observe recommended bend radii and avoid running the cable parallel to strong sources of electromagnetic noise where practical. Use appropriate cable management and labeling to maintain an organized installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, terminate and test each run with certified Cat. 8.2 test equipment after installation to verify signal integrity and compliance. When used in mixed-category environments, ensure connectors and active equipment support the intended data rates and shielding arrangements.
