Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks 75726-AB Cat 6A S/FTP PIMF

Shielded network cable ShiverPeaks 75726-AB Cat 6A S/FTP PIMF is a halogen-free structured cabling cable designed for high-speed Ethernet and reliable data transmission. The cable features an overall braided shield combined with individually foil-shielded twisted pairs (S/FTP) and PIMF pairing to deliver improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. It supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance and is suitable for installations that require stable, high-bandwidth connections such as offices, server rooms and categorized network backbones.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction with an overall braid and foil on each pair provides strong EMI shielding and reduces near-end and far-end crosstalk. Halogen-free jacket material improves safety in enclosed environments by emitting lower toxic gases in case of fire. Pairs are precision twisted to maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies, ensuring consistent performance for 10GBASE-T and other high-speed applications. The cable's design supports reliable patching and permanent link installations in modern structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks (10GBASE-T)
• Office LANs and structured cabling backbones
• Data centers and server room horizontal/vertical cabling
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference
• Industrial or dense-cabling installations with high channel counts

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Pairing: PIMF (pairs in metal foil)
• Performance: supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet
• Jacket: halogen-free outer sheath
• Color: blue
• Length: 20.0 m

How to use

Install the cable following structured cabling standards and local regulations. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends, tight bundles near power lines, and sources of high EMI whenever possible. Terminate the cable with compatible Cat 6A connectors and keystone jacks rated for S/FTP cables, ensuring correct drain wire grounding and maintaining the specified pair twists up to the termination point. Use appropriate cable management and strain relief to protect the cable at patch panels, wall outlets and patch cords.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain bend radius recommendations (typically four times the cable diameter) and avoid untwisting pairs beyond the manufacturer’s recommended length at terminations. Ensure shield continuity by grounding the overall braid at one end or following your site grounding policy. Use this cable in conjunction with Cat 6A-rated patch cords and connectors to preserve the link performance for 10Gbps applications.
