Sieťový kábel ShiverPeaks BS75210-500S sivý 500 m Cat5e F/UTP

The ShiverPeaks BS75210-500S Grey 500m Cat5e F/UTP is a bulk networking cable intended for structured cabling installations where consistent performance and reduced electromagnetic interference are required. This Cat5e-rated cable features foil-shielded pairs within an overall protective jacket, offering a balance of flexibility and signal protection for Ethernet networks up to Cat5e performance levels. Supplied in a 500 m reel and finished in grey, the cable is suitable for long runs in office, server room, or residential environments where reliable wired connectivity is needed.

Advantages

The foil-shielded twisted-pair construction helps reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, supporting stable data transmission. A 500 m reel length minimizes joins and makes it efficient for medium and large installations. The Cat5e specification supports common Ethernet speeds and is widely compatible with existing network hardware. The grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance for visible installations while offering physical protection for the internal pairs.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling for small and medium office networks
• Home networking and multimedia connections
• Server room horizontal and patch cabling
• Data point installations requiring shielded cabling to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding: Foil around twisted pairs with overall jacket (F/UTP)
• Length: 500 m reel
• Color: Grey outer jacket
• Conductor type: Twisted pair copper conductors

How to use

Install the cable by routing it through cable trays, conduits, or along planned cable paths, maintaining proper bend radius and avoiding sharp kinks. Terminate cable ends with compatible RJ45 connectors or punch-down into keystone jacks and patch panels designed for Cat5e shielded cable. Ensure correct grounding of the shielding at a single point to maintain the effectiveness of the foil shield. Test each run with appropriate cable testers to verify continuity, pair integrity, and performance before putting the network into service.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep shielded cable separated from high-voltage power lines and large motors, and use grounded patch panels or shields at termination points. When planning runs longer than standard channel lengths, account for signal loss and follow Cat5e installation guidelines to maintain reliable network speeds.
