SILVERSTONE Aero Slots Panel SST-AEROSLOTS-B — predný/zadný slotový ventilačný panel pre lepší prietok vzduchu

The SILVERSTONE Aero Slots panel SST-AEROSLOTS-B is a front/rear slot ventilation panel designed to improve airflow through standard expansion slot openings in compatible PC chassis. The panel replaces a blank slot cover and introduces a contoured venting pattern that helps channel expelled or intake air along the case interior, contributing to reduced local temperatures and more consistent cooling paths for components.

Advantages

The Aero Slots panel provides increased passive airflow without requiring significant case modification or additional mounting hardware. Its form factor fits typical slot openings and maintains a secure fit while allowing air to pass more freely than a solid cover. The design supports better heat dispersion from adjacent components and can be combined with existing case fans to optimize overall airflow balance.

Suitable for

• PC builders looking to improve rear or front slot ventilation
• System upgrades where localized cooling around expansion cards is needed
• Compact or airflow-restricted chassis requiring additional passive venting

Key specifications

• Type: Replacement slot ventilation panel for front or rear slot openings
• Compatibility: Fits standard expansion slot dimensions used in common PC chassis
• Material: Rigid panel designed for structural fit and airflow routing
• Finish: Dark-colored exterior suitable for most case interiors
• Function: Passive ventilation to assist directed airflow and heat dispersion

How to use

Turn off and unplug the computer before beginning installation. Remove the existing blank slot cover from the intended front or rear slot area according to the chassis instructions. Align the Aero Slots panel with the slot opening and secure it in place using the same fastening method (screw or retention clip) used for the original cover. Reconnect power and verify system operation. Observe system temperatures after installation to confirm improved airflow and expected cooling effect.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use the panel in conjunction with proper case fan placement and airflow planning. Ensure intake and exhaust flows are balanced so the passive venting complements active cooling. Check compatibility with your chassis’ slot retention method before purchase to ensure correct fit.
