How to use

Turn off the sewing machine and raise the needle to its highest position. Remove the old needle and insert the SINGER 2045 SZ12 needle with the flat shank side oriented per your machine’s instruction (consult your machine manual if needed). Push the needle up until it seats fully, then secure the needle clamp screw. Thread the needle and test on a scrap of the intended fabric to confirm tension and stitch formation before starting your project.

Recommendations

Use this size 12 needle for medium-weight woven and knit fabrics; switch to a different needle type or size if sewing heavy materials, very delicate fabrics, or specialty threads. Replace needles regularly for best stitch quality and to avoid fabric damage.
