Sklenené vlákno kábel EFB Elektronik O0319.15 15 m LC fialový

The EFB Elektronik O0319.15 is a 15 m OM4 fibre optic cable with LC connectors and a 50 µm core diameter designed for high-speed, full duplex data transmission. Its violet jacket and LC terminations identify it as a multimode OM4 link suitable for modern network infrastructures where low attenuation and high bandwidth are required. The cable supports short- to medium-range connections in data centres, local area networks and audiovisual setups where reliable optical connectivity is needed.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable offers high modal bandwidth and low insertion loss appropriate for 10 Gbps and higher short-reach applications. The LC connectors provide compact, easy-to-install terminations that fit common transceivers and patch panels. A 15 m length allows flexible routing between racks or equipment without additional splicing. The 50 µm core diameter and OM4 specification make the cable compatible with multimode systems while maintaining performance for multimode transceivers.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and inter-rack connections
• Local area network backbone and horizontal cabling
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch optical links
• Audiovisual systems and broadcast patching
• Multimode transceiver testing and temporary installations

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Violet

How to use

Check that connected devices support multimode OM4 fibre and LC connectors. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress; follow the manufacturer's minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks, ensuring correct alignment of transmit and receive channels for full duplex operation. For best performance, keep connectors clean and use dust caps when not connected. If routing through cable management accessories, secure the cable without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For sustained performance, clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before installation, avoid exceeding the cable's bend radius, and verify signal integrity after installation with optical loss testing when possible. Use this OM4 cable for short- to medium-range links within racks or between adjacent rooms where multimode infrastructure is present.
