Wireless Access Point Cambium Networks cnPilot E600 2,4 GHz 5 GHz

The Cambium Networks cnPilot E600 is a high-powered dual-band wireless access point supporting 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz with a maximum data transfer rate of 3850 Mbit/s. Equipped with a 4x4 antenna array and 802.11ac Wave 2 technologies such as beamforming and Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO), the E600 is designed to deliver high capacity throughput, extended range, and support for many simultaneous clients. The unit has a compact white housing and two Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports with PoE support and a maximum power consumption of 22 W.

Advantages

The cnPilot E600 offers gigabit-class wireless performance with Wave 2 features — beamforming and MU-MIMO — to improve throughput and client handling in dense environments. Dual-band operation (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and a 4x4 antenna array increase coverage and capacity. Built-in security support includes WPA2-AES and 802.1x RADIUS for secure authentication, while two Gigabit Ethernet ports enable flexible wired connectivity and Power-over-Ethernet deployment.

Suitable for

• Classrooms and educational campuses
• Indoor public spaces and shopping malls
• Hotels and hospitality venues
• Enterprise offices and meeting rooms

How to use

Mount the cnPilot E600 in the desired indoor location and connect it to the network using a Gigabit Ethernet cable to one of the RJ-45 ports. Provide power via a compatible PoE switch or injector that meets the device power requirements. Configure SSIDs, security (WPA2-AES or 802.1x RADIUS) and other wireless settings through the Cambium management interface or supported controller, then place client devices on the appropriate 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz SSID based on coverage and capacity needs.

Recommendations

For best performance in high-density environments, enable 5 GHz operation and MU-MIMO where client devices support it, separate SSIDs for guest and corporate networks, and position the access point centrally and away from large metal objects or other RF sources. Use a Gigabit PoE source to ensure full functionality and consistent throughput.
