Aktívny optický kábel CBO SFP28-AOC-1M 1 m BlueOptics SFP28 25Gbps

Active Optical Cable CBO SFP28-AOC-1M is a 1 m BlueOptics SFP28 AOC engineered for short-reach 25 Gbps links between SFP28 ports in switches, network interface cards and servers. The cable uses an SFP28 form-factor connector at each end and optical transmission to reduce electromagnetic interference and lower power consumption compared with copper direct-attach solutions. Its 1 metre length and flexible jacket simplify cable routing in dense rack environments while offering plug-and-play connectivity suitable for data centre and enterprise networking applications.

Advantages

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-1M delivers 25 Gbps full-duplex bandwidth over an optical link with low latency and stable signal integrity for short distances. It reduces EMI emissions and heat generation relative to comparable copper assemblies and eliminates the need for separate transceivers by integrating optical transceivers into the cable ends. The compact SFP28 connectors support hot-pluggable operation and the optical construction allows tighter bend radii and neater cable management in constrained spaces.

Suitable for

• Short-reach server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections in racks
• High-speed uplinks from NICs to top-of-rack or leaf switches
• Data centre aggregation and spine-leaf fabrics requiring 25 Gbps links
• Environments sensitive to electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 form factor, hot-pluggable
• Data rate: up to 25 Gbps per link (full-duplex)
• Length: 1 metre
• Transmission medium: multimode/mode-agnostic optical AOC
• Typical use: short-reach, intra-rack and adjacent-rack links
• Cable colour: blue

How to use

Install the Active Optical Cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into the compatible SFP28 ports on your switch, NIC or server until the connector latches. The cable is plug-and-play; most systems will automatically detect the link and negotiate the appropriate speed. Route the cable to avoid excessive bends near the connector ends and do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended minimum bend radius. For removal, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid stressing the port.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with the SFP28 ports and supported link speeds on your equipment before installation. Use the 1 m length for intra-rack or short adjacent-rack connections and avoid sharp bends or crushing forces. Keep connectors clean and replace dust caps when disconnected to maintain optical performance.
