AOC InfiniBand/optický kábel BlueOptics P08228-001-BO, QSFP56–QSFP56, 3 m, azúrová

BlueOptics P08228-001-BO is a 3 m active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP56 connectors on both ends, designed for InfiniBand and fiber-optic high-speed links. The cyan 3 m cable supports QSFP56 interface connectivity for data center interconnects, switch-to-switch and server-to-switch links, offering low weight and plug-and-play deployment. The AOC transmits optical signals using laser-based fiber optics and complies with common MSA interface standards for QSFP56 connectivity.

Advantages

The cable provides a cost-effective, low-latency optical connection without susceptibility to electromagnetic interference, suitable for short-reach high-throughput links. Its active optical design integrates transmit and receive functions to support simultaneous bidirectional data flow and typically includes digital diagnostics monitoring for real-time signal and module parameters. The lightweight, factory-terminated assembly simplifies installation and reduces cable management complexity in rack environments.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics AOC by inserting each QSFP56 connector into the corresponding QSFP56 port on your switches or servers until the latch engages. Ensure both devices are powered and the host hardware supports QSFP56 modules and the intended data rates. If available, use the host management interface to verify link status and, where supported, read DDM/DOM parameters for diagnostics. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; no additional transceivers or fiber patching is required.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, confirm compatibility of QSFP56 ports and firmware on connected devices, avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, and use the DDM/DOM readouts for troubleshooting link issues. Store and handle the AOC in a dry, dust-free environment when not in use.
