AOC kábel BlueOptics AOC-Q28-100G-10M-BO 10m QSFP28 konektor samec/konektor samec

The AOC Cable BlueOptics AOC-Q28-100G-10M-BO 10m QSFP28 Male/Male is a 10 metre active optical cable with QSFP28 male connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed networking environments, this multi-mode active optical cable supports 100G data transmission and conforms to MSA-style QSFP28 interfaces. It integrates optical transmitter and receiver components in each connector to enable short-reach, low-latency links between compatible network devices in data centres and enterprise networks.

Advantages

This 10 m BlueOptics AOC provides a factory-assembled optical channel that reduces signal loss and electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives. The QSFP28-to-QSFP28 configuration simplifies direct connections between switches, routers, servers and storage systems that accept QSFP28 modules. Compliance with common MSA physical and electrical interfaces ensures interoperability with many platforms that support compatible 100GBASE-SR4 active optical cables.

Suitable for

• Short-reach 100G links in data centre racks and equipment rooms
• Direct connections between QSFP28 ports on switches and routers
• Interconnects between servers and storage systems with QSFP28 interfaces
• High-bandwidth aggregation and spine-leaf network topologies

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Length: 10 metres
• Connector type: QSFP28 male to QSFP28 male
• Rated data rate: up to 100 Gbit/s
• Optical medium: multi-mode fiber with integrated transceivers
• Application: short-reach 100GBASE-SR4 class links

How to use

Insert each QSFP28 connector into the corresponding QSFP28 port on the network devices until the connector latches. Ensure ports are powered and configured to accept active optical cable modules and that device firmware or software supports non-proprietary AOC modules where required. After insertion, verify link status and negotiated speed on both devices and check that the operating system or network management tools report a 100G link as expected.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid sharp bends near the cable ends; follow minimum bend radius guidance from the manufacturer. Use this AOC for short-reach intra-rack or inter-rack connections up to 10 m and verify device compatibility with QSFP28 AOC modules before deployment.
