Avaya Virtual Services Platform 4450GSX-PWR+ – switch – L3 – managed – 12 x 10/100/1000 (PoE+)

The Avaya Virtual Services Platform 4450GSX-PWR+ is a high-performance Layer 3 managed switch designed for enterprise networks requiring reliable and secure connectivity. With 12 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports and 4 SFP uplink ports, this 1U rack-mountable switch delivers robust switching capacity of 32 Gbps and forwarding rate of 23.8 Mpps. It supports advanced routing protocols including OSPF, RIP, and static IP routing, along with comprehensive management features via SNMP, CLI, and web interface. The switch provides a PoE budget of 240 W, making it ideal for powering IP phones, cameras, and wireless access points. Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) reduces power consumption, while security features like Dynamic ARP Inspection (DAI) protect the network.

Advantages

High-density PoE+ support with 240 W budget simplifies deployment of powered devices. Layer 3 routing capabilities enable efficient traffic management across subnets. The compact 1U form factor saves rack space, and the fanless design ensures silent operation in noise-sensitive environments. Advanced security and QoS features guarantee reliable performance for critical applications.

Suitable for

• Enterprise campus networks requiring PoE+ for IP phones and wireless access points
• Small to medium business networks needing managed L3 switching
• Edge or distribution layer deployments in hierarchical network designs
