BlueOptics 470-ACID-BO InfiniBand sklenené vlákno kábel 15 m SFP28 akvamarínová

The BlueOptics 470-ACID-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15 m SFP28 Aqua is a 15-meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors designed for high-speed short-reach connections. It supports multi-mode fibre transmission with integrated transmitter and receiver modules at each end, and is compatible with systems that accept SFP28 AOC modules. The cable is presented in aqua jacket color and is intended for data centre and networking use where low latency and electromagnetic immunity are required.

Advantages

This SFP28 AOC provides up to 25 Gbit/s per channel in short-reach multimode environments and transmits and receives simultaneously through integrated optical transceivers. The pre-assembled fibre design eliminates the need for field termination or patching, reducing insertion loss and cleaning requirements. Built to MSA-compliant SFP28 dimensions, it is suitable for hardware platforms that support compatible AOCs and includes digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM) capability when supported by host equipment.

Suitable for

• Data centre switch-to-switch and switch-to-server interconnects
• High-performance computing (InfiniBand) short-reach links
• Storage systems and SAN interconnects requiring SFP28
• Applications where immunity to electromagnetic interference is important

Key specifications

• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC) with SFP28 to SFP28 connectors
• Length: 15 meters
• Data rate: supports up to 25 Gbit/s per channel (25GBASE-SR4 class short-reach applications)
• Fibre type: multimode optical fibre
• Form factor: SFP28 MSA-compliant transceiver housing
• DDM/DOM: supported when host hardware provides the interface
• Jacket color: Aqua

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 ports on the devices to be linked, following standard electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions. Ensure the host devices support SFP28 AOCs and, if DDM/DOM is required, that the hardware and management software provide access to the diagnostic interface. Route the pre-assembled cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; secure it with appropriate cable management to maintain minimum bend radius and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with the target hardware platform before deployment and confirm DDM/DOM support if remote diagnostics are needed. Maintain the cable in a clean environment and avoid tight bends; follow manufacturer guidelines for minimum bend radius and handling. For mission-critical links, consider testing a sample AOC in the actual equipment to confirm full functionality and diagnostic visibility.
