Aktívny optický kábel CBO AOC SFP28-AOC-3M 3 m SFP28 duplex pre 25Gbps pripojenia

Active Optical Cable CBO SFP28-AOC-3M is a 3-meter duplex SFP28 cable engineered for 25Gbps short-reach connections between compatible SFP28 ports. The cable integrates optical transceivers and multimode fiber in a single, factory-terminated assembly to provide a compact, low-latency link suitable for switches, servers and storage systems in data centers and high-performance networking environments.

Advantages

The integrated design reduces component count and simplifies installation compared with separate transceivers and patch cords. Optical transmission delivers immunity to electromagnetic interference and supports stable 25Gbps data rates over the specified reach. The SFP28 form factor ensures hot-pluggable connectivity and compatibility with equipment that accepts SFP28 AOC modules. The duplex construction provides full-duplex operation for modern networking equipment while maintaining a small cable diameter for improved airflow and cable management.

Suitable for

• Short-reach uplinks between switches and aggregation devices inside data centers
• Direct server-to-switch connections in rack and hyper-converged environments
• Interconnects for storage arrays and high-performance computing nodes
• Environments requiring low-latency, high-bandwidth links with compact cabling

Key specifications

• Data rate: 25 Gbps per duplex link
• Connector type: SFP28 duplex modules (plug-in AOC ends)
• Length: 3 meters
• Transmission medium: active optical cable with integrated fiber and transceivers
• Latency: low, suitable for latency-sensitive applications
• Compatibility: designed for devices with SFP28 ports supporting AOC modules

How to use

Install the Active Optical Cable by inserting each SFP28 module into the corresponding SFP28 port on the two network devices until the module clicks into place. Ensure both ends are fully seated and that device firmware and port settings are configured for 25Gbps operation. No separate transceivers or fiber termination are required because the cable is a factory-terminated assembly. For removal, press the release mechanism on each SFP28 module and withdraw the cable straight out to avoid damage to the module or port.

Recommendations

Use the cable for intra-rack and adjacent-rack connections within its 3 m reach. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force; follow the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment vendor. Verify host and switch compatibility with SFP28 active optical assemblies and ensure ports are operating at the intended speed. Keep the SFP28 module dust caps on until installation to protect optical interfaces.
