AOC CBO SFP28 aktívny optický kábel 1 m — 25 Gbit/s, SFP28 konektor samec

Active Optical Cable AOC by BlueOptics, model AOC-SFP28-CABLE-1M-BO, is a 1-metre SFP28 male-to-male solution supporting 25 Gbit/s data rates for high-performance server, switch and storage interconnects. The cable uses integrated optical transceivers to deliver low-latency, long-reach optical transmission with immunity to electromagnetic interference compared with equivalent copper assemblies. Its SFP28 form-factor ensures compatibility with 25GbE and other SFP28 ports, making it suitable for data center cabling, access layer upgrades and high-density rack connections.

Advantages

The AOC provides high bandwidth and signal integrity over a 1 m length while reducing crosstalk and EMI concerns typical of copper cabling. Because optical conversion is integrated into the cable ends, installation is plug-and-play with SFP28 ports and does not require separate transceivers. The solution reduces weight and power consumption compared with equivalent active copper assemblies and supports consistent low-latency performance for demanding network applications.

Suitable for

• 25GbE connections between switches, routers and servers
• Top-of-rack and end-of-row data center cabling
• High-speed storage area network links and server interconnects
• Network upgrades requiring SFP28 compatibility and optical reach

Key specifications

• Data rate: 25 Gbit/s
• Connector type: SFP28 male on both ends
• Length: 1 metre
• Transmission medium: active optical cable with integrated transceivers
• Latency: low-latency design suitable for high-performance networking
• EMI immunity: optical transmission reduces electromagnetic interference

How to use

Install the AOC by inserting each SFP28 connector into compatible 25GbE SFP28 ports on network equipment until the latch engages. No separate transceiver modules or additional configuration is required on most systems; the cable will be recognized as an SFP28 optical link. Verify link status on both devices and confirm negotiated speed is 25 Gbit/s. For safe handling, avoid sharp bends near the connector boot and do not route the cable near mechanical strain points.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this 1 m AOC in short-reach, high-density environments such as top-of-rack connections. Ensure compatible firmware or vendor support for AOC links on your network devices and avoid excessive cable bundling that may cause mechanical stress. Store and route the cable following standard fibre-optic handling practices to maintain performance and longevity.
