AOC kábel CBO SFP28-AOC-1M 1 m aktívny optický kábel pre SFP28 pripojenia

CBO AOC SFP28-AOC-1M is a 1 meter active optical cable designed for SFP28 ports. It establishes a short-distance optical link between compatible network devices, enabling high-speed data transmission over SFP28 transceiver interfaces. The cable is intended for short-reach connections such as rack-to-rack or switch-to-switch links, delivering low latency and resistance to electromagnetic interference for stable network performance.

Advantages

The active optical design reduces signal degradation over copper at high data rates while maintaining a compact cable profile suitable for dense installations. By using fiber optics, the cable provides immunity to electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving link stability in environments with heavy electrical noise. Its 1 m length simplifies cable routing in closely spaced racks and minimizes excess slack, supporting predictable signal timing for low-latency applications.

Suitable for

• Short-distance server-to-switch or switch-to-switch connections in data centers
• High-speed SFP28 transceiver interfaces requiring 25 Gbps links
• Environments where electromagnetic immunity and low latency are required

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 active optical cable
• Length: 1 meter
• Data rate support: up to 25 Gbps per lane (SFP28-compatible)
• Cable type: active optical (AOC)
• Interference resistance: immune to electromagnetic interference
• Typical use: short-reach, high-density installations

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on the network devices until it latches securely. Ensure both devices support SFP28 active optical links and are powered off or set to hot-plug mode according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions when connecting or disconnecting. After physical insertion, verify link status through device LEDs or management interfaces and confirm negotiated speed and duplex settings where applicable.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; observe the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment manufacturer. Use the 1 m length for short interconnects inside racks or between adjacent racks to reduce excess slack. Confirm compatibility with device firmware and SFP28 transceiver requirements before deployment to ensure reliable operation.
