BlueOptics BO272703Q15M-BO InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel 15 m SFP28 konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics BO272703Q15M-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 15 m SFP28 Male/Male is a single product designed for high-speed, low-latency connections in server rooms, storage arrays and high-performance computing environments. With SFP28 connectors on both ends and a 15 metre length, this cable supports reliable optical links between compatible transceivers and networking equipment, enabling stable data transmission over medium distances within racks and between adjacent racks.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers full-duplex optical transmission via SFP28 interfaces, delivering the signal integrity required for 25 Gbps class links and InfiniBand applications. Its 15 m length balances reach and manageability in typical data centre layouts, while the male-to-male connector configuration ensures plug-and-play compatibility with standard SFP28 ports. The cable construction minimizes signal loss and electromagnetic interference, supporting consistent throughput and reduced error rates.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP28 connector firmly into the corresponding SFP28 transceiver port on network devices, ensuring the latch clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension, keeping bend radius within manufacturer recommendations for fiber optic cables. When removing, release the connector latch before pulling the connector straight out to prevent damage. Verify link status on connected devices and perform any required diagnostics to confirm optical signal levels and link integrity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment to prevent contamination of optical end faces. Clean connector end faces before mating using appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Avoid tight loops and maintain gentle cable management to preserve performance. For optimal compatibility, pair the cable with certified SFP28 transceivers and verify multimode/single-mode matching according to your transceiver specifications.
