BlueOptics BO272703Q50M-BO InfiniBand sklenené vlákno kábel 50 m SFP28 konektor samec

The BlueOptics BO272703Q50M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 50 metre duplex link with SFP28 male connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding networking environments. This single product provides a long-reach connection suitable for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment links where low latency and high throughput are required. Constructed to maintain signal integrity over medium distances, the cable supports InfiniBand protocols and typical SFP28 port interfaces used in modern data centres and high-performance computing clusters.

Advantages

This 50m InfiniBand fibre optic cable offers predictable performance for high-bandwidth links and reduces electromagnetic interference inherent to copper alternatives. The SFP28 male connectors ensure straightforward plug-and-play installation with compatible transceiver ports. The cable’s length and construction are intended to preserve signal quality over moderate runs, delivering stable data rates and reliable connectivity for continuous operation.

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP28 male connector into the corresponding SFP28 or InfiniBand transceiver port until it clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, excessive tension or contact with sources of strong electromagnetic fields. Verify link status through connected devices and perform basic diagnostics if a link is not established. For removal, press the release mechanism on the transceiver and gently withdraw the connector.

Recommendations

For best results, maintain minimum bend radius as specified by the equipment vendor, keep connectors clean and capped when not in use, and use appropriate cable management to prevent strain. Confirm compatibility of SFP28 ports and transceivers before deployment and perform periodic inspections for physical damage to ensure continued reliable operation.
