BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-10M-BO optický kábel OM3 10m aqua

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-10M-BO Fibre Optic Cable OM3 10m Aqua is a 10-metre multimode OM3 patch cable with LC connectors on both ends, designed for full-duplex, high-speed optical links. Manufactured for networking and data centre environments, this LC–LC OM3 fibre cable uses laser-optimized multimode fiber and an aqua LSZH jacket for reduced smoke and no halogen in case of fire. The cable is suitable for connecting transceivers, patch panels and equipment that require reliable OM3 multimode links over short to medium distances.

Advantages

This OM3 LC–LC cable offers low attenuation and high return loss for stable signal quality. The LSZH outer sheath reduces toxic fumes and smoke in confined spaces while meeting common industrial safety requirements. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules for long mechanical life and consistent mating performance, and the cable is tested with interferometry and OTDR to provide verified input loss and return loss values. The combination of laser-optimized OM3 fiber and precision LC/UPC terminations supports high-bandwidth applications like 10GbE and higher when deployed within the multimode OM3 distance limits.

How to use

Verify that both ends are clean and free of dust or debris before connecting. Align the LC connectors with the corresponding LC ports on transceivers or patch panels and insert until the latch clicks. For duplex links ensure correct orientation of transmit and receive pairs. Avoid tight bends and secure the cable with appropriate routing clips or cable management to maintain the recommended minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode fibre. If disconnecting, press the LC latch and pull gently; do not pull on the fiber itself.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry environment, keep protective dust caps on connectors until installation, and use an approved fibre cleaning tool if any contamination is suspected. For optimal performance in 10GbE and higher applications, follow multimode OM3 distance recommendations and verify link loss against equipment specifications; replace or reclean connectors if measured loss exceeds acceptable limits.
