BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-50M-BO InfiniBand optický kábel aqua 50m OM3 LC LC

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-50M-BO is a 50‑meter multimode fibre optic patch cable engineered for high-speed, short- to medium-range optical links. It uses OM3 laser-optimized multimode fiber with LC connectors on both ends in LC/UPC termination, supporting full-duplex transmission. The cable is intended for structured cabling in data centers, network racks and server rooms where predictable attenuation, consistent return loss and standardized safety properties are required.

Advantages

This LC–LC OM3 cable offers low attenuation and high return loss thanks to laser-optimized multimode fiber and precision-terminated LC connectors. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) outer sheath reduces toxic gas and smoke emission in case of fire. Connectors use zirconia ceramic ferrules for stable alignment and long mating life, while production-level testing with interferometer and OTDR provides measured input loss and return loss values for each cable.

How to use

Route the BlueOptics LC–LC OM3 cable along existing cable trays or inside rack cable management to avoid tight bends; maintain the manufacturerʼs minimum bend radius. Clean connector end-faces with an appropriate fiber cleaning tool before mating to ensure low insertion loss. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on patch panels, transceivers or switch ports until the latch clicks. Verify optical link performance with an optical power meter or transceiver diagnostics and compare measured insertion loss to the supplied measurement protocol.

Recommendations

For optimum performance, avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, keep connector end-faces protected with dust caps when not in use, and follow standard cleaning and handling procedures. Use cable management to prevent microbends and ensure stable mating cycles; if special polish types or custom lengths are required, consult the supplier for available options.
