BlueOptics CBL-0310-001-BO InfiniBand/optický kábel 1 m QSFP oranžový

The BlueOptics CBL-0310-001-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 1 m QSFP Orange is a 1-metre active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed short-reach connections in data centers and professional networking environments. It follows QSFP form-factor MSA guidelines and implements 40GBASE-SR4 signaling over multimode optical links, providing a compact, low-latency solution for interconnects between switches, routers, storage systems and other QSFP-equipped devices.

Advantages

This cable integrates optical transmitters and receivers within its QSFP modules to enable 40 Gbps data rates across a 1 m multimode link, ensuring consistent high-throughput and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives. The male-to-male QSFP configuration offers plug-and-play compatibility with QSFP ports that support 40GBASE-SR4 and QSFP AOC modules, and the orange outer jacket provides easy visual identification for multimode short-reach fiber runs.

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into compatible QSFP ports on the devices to be connected, ensuring the connector latch engages and the port indicators show link activity. No external power or transceivers are required beyond the QSFP slots, as the cable houses the necessary transmit and receive optics. For best results, route the cable with gentle bends, avoid tight kinks, and ensure connectors are clean before insertion.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for short, high-bandwidth links within racks or between adjacent racks. Verify that your hardware explicitly supports 40GBASE-SR4 QSFP AOCs or compatible QSFP modules before deployment. Maintain multimode fiber cleanliness and avoid excessive bend radius to preserve signal integrity and link longevity.
