CBO SFP28 Direct Attach kábel 1 m pasívny pre 25Gb/s (kompatibilný s Gigamon) SFP28-DAC-1M

CBO SFP28 Direct Attach Cable 1m passive for 25Gb/s (Gigamon compatible) SFP28-DAC-1M is a 1‑meter passive copper twinax cable designed for direct 25Gb/s connections between SFP28 ports. Manufactured for short‑reach links, this direct attach cable supports low‑latency, point‑to‑point connectivity for switches, servers and network appliances in rack environments. It is intended for high‑density deployments where reliable, cost‑effective short‑distance cabling is required.

Advantages

The passive SFP28 direct attach cable provides a simple, energy‑efficient connection method with minimal configuration. Its fixed 1 m length reduces cabling clutter in rack‑to‑rack and top‑of‑rack setups while delivering the signaling characteristics needed for 25Gb/s links. Compatibility with devices that support SFP28 passive DACs enables straightforward interoperability without additional transceivers or modules.

Suitable for

• Short‑reach connections between SFP28 ports on switches and routers
• Server to top‑of‑rack switch links in data centers
• High‑density rack environments and blade chassis interconnects
• Cost‑sensitive, low‑latency point‑to‑point links

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 (direct attach twinax copper)
• Cable length: 1 meter
• Supported data rate: 25 Gb/s (per cable, full duplex)
• Passive design: no active components or power requirement in the cable
• Typical application: short‑reach, rack‑level interconnects

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port until the latch engages. Ensure both ends are securely seated in compatible ports on switches, servers or network appliances. No additional configuration is required on the cable itself; verify link status via connected devices and confirm 25Gb/s operation through the host equipment’s interface diagnostics or management software.

Recommendations

Use the 1 m passive DAC for short, direct connections inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and excessive pull force on the twinax cable; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. Confirm device compatibility with SFP28 passive DACs and check firmware or compatibility lists if using with branded network appliances to ensure optimal link stability.
