BlueOptics ET5402-AOC-3M-BO InfiniBand optický kábel SFP+ 3m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics ET5402-AOC-3M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable SFP+ 3m Male/Male is a 3-meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors designed for high-speed short-reach links. It uses a multi-mode optical channel with integrated transmitter and receiver modules in each SFP+ end, supporting 10G-class protocols and compliant with MSA SFP+ mechanical and electrical interfaces. The cable is intended for data centre and networking environments where reliable 10G connectivity between switches, routers, servers or storage systems is required.

Advantages

The AOC design eliminates separate transceivers and patch cords by combining optical modules and fiber in a single, pre-terminated assembly, reducing insertion points and easing installation. With a 3 m length and SFP+ male-to-male connectors, this cable offers predictable signal integrity and low latency for short-reach high-bandwidth links. Compatibility with standard SFP+ ports and support for multiple 10G protocols provide flexibility across common networking hardware that follows the SFP+ MSA.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics ET5402-AOC-3M-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on your network devices until the latch engages. Ensure both ends are seated firmly and that connected devices are powered and configured for 10G operation if required. Since the cable is pre-terminated and active, no separate transceivers or patch panels are necessary; treat the assembly as a single plug-and-play link. Monitor link status on the devices to confirm successful negotiation and data transmission.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer's minimum bend radius for multi-mode AOC assemblies and avoid sharp kinks. Use the 3 m length for short-reach connections within racks or between adjacent racks and verify device compatibility with SFP+ AOC modules before deployment.
