BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-50M-BO InfiniBand/optický kábel SFP28 50m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics ET7302-AOC-50M-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable SFP28 50m Male/Male is a 50 metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors designed for high-speed short-reach links. The cable integrates transmitters and receivers in the SFP28 modules at each end and uses multimode fibre to support 25G per lane transmission suitable for modern data centre and networking environments. The product is compatible with hardware that follows the SFP28 MSA standard and is intended for use where reliable, low-latency optical connections are required over a 50 m distance.

Advantages

The AOC construction combines optical transceivers and multimode fibre in a single assembly, reducing the need for separate transceivers and patch cords while offering consistent signal integrity over 50 metres. SFP28 connectors ensure compatibility with 25G ports that accept MSA-compliant SFP28 modules. The integrated design provides low power consumption relative to discrete transceiver-plus-cable solutions and eliminates optical connector mating losses associated with patch panel setups.

Key specifications

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on networking equipment, ensuring the module latches engage. Verify link lights and device diagnostics to confirm the connection is recognized. No separate optical transceiver or fibre patching is required; the integrated AOC handles optical/electrical conversion. For initial deployment, check that connected devices support SFP28 MSA-compatible modules and are configured for the intended 25G or compatible link mode.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode AOC assemblies. Use in environments that match the equipment thermal and electrical specifications, and verify interoperability with your switch or host vendor if strict compatibility lists are required.
