BlueOptics ET7402-AOC-50M-BO InfiniBand optický kábel 50m QSFP28 konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics ET7402-AOC-50M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 50m QSFP28 Male/Male is a 50-meter active optical cable (AOC) designed for high-speed interconnects. It uses QSFP28 male connectors on both ends and multimode optical transmission to support up to 100 Gbit/s data rates over a 50 m distance. The cable integrates optical transceivers on each end to convert electrical signals to optical signals and back, making it suitable for direct connections between QSFP28 ports in data center and high-performance computing environments.

Advantages

This 50 m AOC provides a compact, low-power alternative to separate transceivers and fiber patch cables by combining transmitter and receiver elements with a factory-terminated multimode fiber link. Compatibility with QSFP28 ports and adherence to MSA-style interfaces ensure straightforward plug-and-play installation in supporting network equipment. The integrated optical transceivers and multimode design minimise signal loss across the 50 m span and simplify cable management in dense rack environments.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics ET7402-AOC-50M-BO by plugging each QSFP28 male connector into the corresponding QSFP28 port on your network devices while both devices are powered according to vendor recommendations. The cable is designed for direct plug-and-play operation with equipment that supports QSFP28 AOC modules and 100GBASE-SR4 or compatible InfiniBand interfaces. Ensure proper routing to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress on the connectors; secure the cable in rack pathways or cable management panels to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use this AOC within the same data hall or equipment room for short-reach 100G links. Verify device compatibility with QSFP28 AOC modules before deployment and avoid exceeding recommended bend radii. For critical links, test the cable in your environment to confirm link stability and performance.
