BlueOptics H-QSFP+AOC3M-BO InfiniBand optický kábel 3 m konektor/konektor

The BlueOptics H-QSFP+AOC3M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 3 m active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP male connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed interconnects, it supports InfiniBand and 40G applications over multimode fiber and provides a direct QSFP-to-QSFP connection for short-reach links in data centres and network equipment racks.

Advantages

This 3 m BlueOptics AOC integrates transceivers and a multimode optical link in a single assembly, offering predictable signal performance and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives. The QSFP male/male interface conforms to QSFP MSA-style connections, enabling plug-and-play installation in compatible QSFP ports and simplifying cabling for high-density environments. The cable supports line rates up to 40 Gbps for supported protocols and maintains a compact form factor suitable for constrained rack spaces.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics H-QSFP+AOC3M-BO by inserting each QSFP connector into compatible QSFP ports on the two network devices until they latch. Ensure devices are powered down or follow hot-plug guidelines from the device manufacturer if connecting live. The cable requires no separate transceiver modules; connected devices should automatically detect the link if they support the same protocol and rate. Verify link status and negotiated speed in your device management interface after installation.

Recommendations

Use this AOC for short, high-speed links within racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fiber. Confirm compatibility with your switch, router or storage system QSFP ports and supported 40G or InfiniBand profiles before deployment.
