Kábel CBO MiniSAS 0.5 m — Amphenol model 10117949-2005HLF

This half-meter MiniSAS cable from BlueOptics (Amphenol model 10117949-2005HLF) is designed for high-speed data connections between storage devices and host adapters. The 0.5 m length provides a compact, direct link suitable for short-distance interconnects in server racks, workstations or external storage enclosures, focusing on reliable signal transmission and simplified cabling where space is limited.

Advantages

The MiniSAS cable offers a short, robust connection that reduces signal loss and latency compared with longer links. Its compact 0.5 m form factor minimizes cable clutter and improves airflow in dense rack environments. Constructed to industry mechanical and electrical standards, the assembly supports stable connections between SAS-capable devices and host adapters and simplifies routing in constrained spaces.

Suitable for

• Connecting storage arrays to host adapters in server racks
• Interfacing external drive enclosures with workstations
• Short-distance SAS interconnects inside storage cabinets
• Environments where compact, reliable cabling is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: MiniSAS high-speed data cable
• Length: 0.5 m (half meter)
• Application: SAS storage and host adapter interconnects
• Connector interface: MiniSAS family (Amphenol-style connectors)
• Designed for short-distance, high-bandwidth signal transmission
• Construction: shielded assembly for improved signal integrity

How to use

Identify the MiniSAS ports on the storage device and the host adapter before installation. Align the cable connectors with the port receptacles and insert firmly until the connector seats. Avoid excessive bending near the connector ends and maintain recommended bend radius to preserve signal integrity. For compact installations, route the cable to minimize interference with cooling paths and secure using cable ties or retention features provided by the rack or enclosure.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this 0.5 m MiniSAS cable for direct, short-range connections only. Ensure connectors and ports are free of debris, and avoid repeated unplugging under load. When installing in racks, keep the cable clear of hot airflow streams and maintain slack to prevent strain on connectors.
