BlueOptics S+AO0025-BO InfiniBand/optický kábel 25 m SFP+ konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics S+AO0025-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 25 m SFP+ Male/Male is a 25 metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ connectors on both ends designed for high-speed short-range links. It supports 10GBASE-SR multi-mode optical transmission and complies with MSA SFP+ AOC mechanical and electrical specifications. The cable integrates a transmitter and receiver at each end to convert electrical to optical signals and back, enabling low-latency, interference-immune connections between switches, routers, storage systems and servers in data centres and network racks.

Advantages

The BlueOptics S+AO0025-BO provides 10 Gbit/s capacity over a pre-assembled 25 m multi-mode fibre link, eliminating the need for field termination or patch cord cleaning. MSA compliance ensures plug-and-play interoperability with hardware that accepts SFP+ AOCs. Built-in digital diagnostics (DDM/DOM) offers real-time monitoring of supply voltage, laser bias current, optical transmit/receive power and temperature where supported by host hardware. The AOC design reduces electromagnetic interference risks compared with copper, offers consistent optical attenuation characteristics, and is manufactured using components from established suppliers to support long operational life.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics S+AO0025-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the SFP+ port of the devices you wish to interconnect, ensuring the connectors are fully seated and the host devices are powered according to their vendor instructions. Verify that the host equipment supports 10G SFP+ AOCs and, if required, enable or check DDM/DOM readings in the management interface to monitor link health. No fibre polishing or patching is needed since the cable is factory-terminated and pre-assembled for immediate use.

Recommendations

Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tight bundles; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the manufacturer for multi-mode AOCs. Confirm compatibility with the specific switch, router or storage platform before deployment and, where possible, test a sample in your environment to validate performance and DDM/DOM reporting.
