SFP+ aktívny optický kábel CBO SFP-AOC-10G-1M 10Gbit/s, 1 m

BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-1M is an SFP+ active optical cable (AOC) that delivers 10Gbps data transfer over a 1 metre connection. It integrates transceiver electronics and a duplex optical link into a single fixed cable assembly for direct server-to-switch or switch-to-switch connections in data centres and dense rack environments. The cable is intended for short-reach, high-bandwidth links where reduced latency and simplified cabling are required.

Advantages

The integrated design removes the need for separate transceiver modules and fibre patch cords, reducing component count and installation time. Low insertion loss and optical signalling at 10Gbps provide consistent performance for aggregated links and uplinks. The 1 m length supports close-proximity equipment without excess slack, while the active optical technology offers electrical isolation and immunity to electromagnetic interference compared with copper solutions.

Suitable for

• Direct server-to-switch connections in data centre racks
• Switch-to-switch uplinks in aggregation and access layers
• High-density network deployments where space and cable management are important
• Short-reach, low-latency links for virtualization and storage networks

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP+ active optical cable (integrated transceiver and fibre)
• Data rate: 10 Gbps (full duplex)
• Cable length: 1 metre
• Connector type: SFP+ form factor on both ends
• Media: duplex multimode optical link with active components
• Typical application: short-reach (rack or adjacent racks) 10GbE links

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on two network devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices are powered and configured to use SFP+ ports at 10GbE speed. Verify link status through device LEDs or management interfaces. Do not bend the cable sharply; maintain gentle bends and secure the cable to avoid strain on the connectors. When removing the cable, release the latch and pull the connector straight out.

Recommendations

Install the cable in environments with compatible SFP+ ports and 10GbE support. Avoid exposing the cable to excessive mechanical stress, liquids, or temperatures outside the operating range specified by the equipment vendor. For best results in high-density racks, plan cable routing to minimise bends and allow airflow around connected devices.
