SFP+ aktívny optický kábel CBO SFP-AOC-10G-30M 10Gbps 30m

Active Optical Cable CBO SFP-AOC-10G-30M is a pre-terminated SFP+ cable that delivers a 10Gbps link across a 30-meter multimode optical connection. Designed for use with SFP+ ports on switches, servers and storage arrays, the cable provides a hot-pluggable interface that simplifies deployment in data center and enterprise networking environments. Compared with copper twinax solutions, the active optical construction reduces electromagnetic interference and supports longer reach while maintaining low latency and stable throughput.

Advantages

The SFP+ Active Optical Cable offers plug-and-play installation, eliminating the need for separate transceivers and fiber patch cords. Its active optical design enables consistent 10Gbps performance across the full 30 m length with lower heat generation than equivalent copper options. The cable is compact and lightweight, which helps reduce rack clutter and eases cable management in dense equipment racks.

Suitable for

• High-speed links between top-of-rack and aggregation switches
• Server-to-switch connections in data centers
• Interconnects between storage arrays and host adapters
• Short-reach fiber links where electromagnetic isolation is required

Key specifications

• Nominal data rate: 10 Gbps
• Length: 30 meters
• Connector type: SFP+ (hot-pluggable)
• Physical medium: Active multimode optical cable
• Typical use: Direct SFP+ to SFP+ connection without separate transceivers
• Latency: low, suitable for latency-sensitive applications

How to use

Insert each SFP+ module end into the corresponding SFP+ port on the network devices until the latch engages. Ensure that both devices support SFP+ active optical cable modules and that firmware or platform settings permit generic SFP+ attachments if necessary. No additional fiber patching or transceiver handling is required. For changes, safely hot-unplug the cable while observing device hot-swapping guidelines to avoid link flapping.

Recommendations

Install the cable in cable trays or rack pathways that avoid sharp bends; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for optical cables. Verify device compatibility and link negotiation settings before deployment. Use the SFP+ Active Optical Cable in environments where EMI reduction, longer reach than copper, and straightforward installation are priorities.
