BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-PA-BO InfiniBand/optický kábel SFP+ 25m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-PA-BO is a 25-metre active optical cable with SFP+ connectors designed for high-speed InfiniBand and fibre-optic network links. This male-to-male cable supports 10 Gbit/s data rates and provides a compact, low-latency connection between network devices in data centres, server racks, or aggregation points. The cable’s active optical design reduces electromagnetic interference and signal attenuation over the 25 m distance while keeping power consumption and physical weight lower than equivalent copper solutions.

Advantages

The active optical construction ensures stable 10 Gbit/s throughput with minimal signal loss, suitable for demanding networking environments. SFP+ form-factor connectors allow hot-pluggable installation into compatible transceiver ports, simplifying maintenance and upgrades. Its 25 m length provides extended reach while maintaining low latency and immunity to electrical interference, and the lightweight, flexible cable housing eases routing in crowded racks and conduits.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting servers and switches in data centre racks
• High-speed InfiniBand links for cluster and HPC systems
• Aggregation links between network equipment in wiring closets
• Server to storage array connections where 10 Gbit/s bandwidth is required

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-PA-BO by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ ports on the devices to be connected. Ensure both devices are powered off or that their ports support hot-plugging according to manufacturer guidance before insertion. Secure the connectors by engaging the retention mechanism on each port and route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress. Verify link status and speed in the device management interface and confirm that port configuration (speed/duplex) matches the connected equipment.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor use in controlled environments such as data centres and server rooms. Avoid sharp bends (observe manufacturer minimum bend radius), exposure to moisture, and physical abrasion. Use compatible SFP+ ports and verify firmware/driver compatibility if devices report link issues. For best performance, keep cable routing clear of sources of mechanical strain and perform regular visual inspections for connector cleanliness.
