BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-QN-BO InfiniBand/sklenené vlákno kábel SFP+ 25m konektor/konektor

The BlueOptics SFP-AOC-10G-25M-QN-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable SFP+ 25m Male/Male is a 25 metre active optical cable intended for high-speed serial links between compatible SFP+ ports. It provides a fixed-length fibre connection with SFP+ form-factor terminations in a male-to-male configuration, designed to support short-reach, low-latency links in rack, cabinet and top-of-rack environments. The cable is suitable for use where a reliable, pre-terminated optical connection is preferred over separate transceivers and patch cords.

Advantages

This 25 m active optical cable delivers high bandwidth and low latency for server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections using SFP+ interfaces. The integrated SFP+ connectors eliminate the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, simplifying installation and reducing points of failure. The single pre-assembled assembly ensures consistent performance across the full length and reduces optical insertion variability associated with field-terminated connections.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting servers, switches and storage devices with SFP+ ports in data centre racks
• Short-reach InfiniBand or 10 Gigabit Ethernet links within the same room or adjacent racks
• Top-of-rack and aggregation layer connections where fixed-length optical cabling is required
• Environments that require a pre-terminated, plug-and-play optical link to reduce deployment time

Key specifications

• Length: 25 metres
• Connector type: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Supported interface: InfiniBand and 10 Gigabit Ethernet compatible signaling
• Cable type: Active optical cable (pre-terminated)
• Application: Short-reach links in rack and cabinet environments

How to use

Plug each SFP+ end of the BlueOptics 25 m AOC into the SFP+ slot of the devices you wish to connect, ensuring that the connectors latch securely. Power on the connected devices and verify link status through device LEDs or management interfaces. No additional transceivers or fibre patching is required; the cable is ready for immediate use once inserted into compatible SFP+ ports.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector housings when inserting or removing to avoid strain on the fibre assembly. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends; maintain bend radii recommended for active optical cables and avoid excessive pulling force. Verify compatibility with your equipment vendor’s SFP+ port requirements before deployment.
