BlueOptics SFP2122BU15MM InfiniBand optický kábel 15 m LC SC

The BlueOptics SFP2122BU15MM is a 15 m InfiniBand fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in network infrastructures. The cable uses G.657.A1 single-mode fibre with a 125 µm core diameter, offering low attenuation and compatibility with equipment using LC and SC terminations. Its 15 metre length accommodates rack-to-rack connections and equipment placement within server rooms, data centres, and telecommunication closets.

Advantages

This InfiniBand fibre optic cable provides consistent signal integrity over the full 15 m length and is suited to environments requiring low-loss single-mode performance. The use of G.657.A1 fibre improves bend tolerance compared with older single-mode types, reducing the risk of signal degradation in installations with tight routing or cable management constraints. The combination of LC and SC connectors ensures interoperability with a wide range of network devices and patch panels.

How to use

Route the BlueOptics InfiniBand cable between the LC and SC ports on your devices or patch panels, avoiding excessive bends and physical stress. Verify connector endfaces are clean before insertion to prevent contamination-related loss; if necessary, clean with suitable fibre-optic cleaning tools. Insert the LC and SC connectors into their corresponding ports until they click or seat securely, and secure excess cable length using proper cable management to maintain minimum bend radius for G.657.A1 fibre.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment. Maintain gentle bending and avoid tight loops to preserve bend-tolerant performance. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and perform visual or instrument-based inspection after installation to confirm expected signal levels and link quality.
