BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-HU-BO InfiniBand optický kábel 15m konektor samec/konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-HU-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15m Male/Male is a 15-metre active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission, this AOC implements the 25GBASE-SR4 transmission protocol over multimode fibre and includes integrated transmitter and receiver modules in each connector. The cable is intended for use in data centre and high-performance computing environments where compact, low-latency links with minimal signal loss are required.

Advantages

This BlueOptics AOC provides a factory-terminated, plug-and-play connection with SFP28 interface compatibility, eliminating the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. The integrated optical transceivers reduce insertion loss and ensure a stable 25 Gbps link over the 15-metre multimode fibre run. Its form factor and MSA-aligned SFP28 connectors make it compatible with a wide range of networking equipment that supports SFP28 AOC modules.

Suitable for

• High-performance computing cluster uplinks and node interconnects
• Data centre switch-to-switch or switch-to-server connections
• Low-latency storage area network links supporting Fibre Channel over Ethernet
• Enterprise aggregation and distribution layer connections requiring 25 Gbps links

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 on both ends (male/male)
• Length: 15 metres
• Transmission protocol: 25GBASE-SR4 over multimode fibre
• Active Optical Cable (AOC) with integrated transmitter and receiver modules
• Typical use: multimode fibre for short-reach 25 Gbps links

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-HU-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the appropriate SFP28 port on your networking devices until the connectors click into place. Ensure both devices support 25GBASE-SR4 or SFP28 AOC modules and power on the equipment. The cable is factory-terminated and requires no further configuration at the physical layer; verify link status and speed in the device management interface and confirm that firmware or driver settings permit 25 Gbps operation if necessary.

Recommendations

Place the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; follow manufacturer bend-radius guidelines for multimode fibre to maintain signal integrity. Use this AOC in environments and devices that explicitly support SFP28 AOC modules and 25GBASE-SR4 links. For mixed-vendor environments, confirm compatibility with switch firmware and port settings prior to deployment and consider testing with a sample unit in your specific hardware configuration.
