BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-RW-BO SFP28 aktívny optický kábel, 25 m, mätová, konektor-konektor

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-RW-BO is an active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends and a cable length of 25 m. Designed for low-latency, high-bandwidth links, this mint-coloured AOC connects SFP28 ports to provide reliable optical connectivity for data centre interconnects and rack cabling. The cable weighs 0.15 kg and is intended for use with SFP28-capable network equipment supporting 25 Gbit/s applications.

Advantages

The active optical design integrates transmitters and receivers in the cable ends to deliver stable signal conversion across multimode fibre, reducing electrical-to-optical conversion complexity in racks. With SFP28-to-SFP28 connectivity and a 25 m reach, the cable removes the need for separate transceivers and patch fibres in many server-to-switch and switch-to-switch scenarios. Its mint colour and compact weight make identification and cable management straightforward in dense installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting SFP28 ports within racks or between adjacent racks up to 25 m
• High-speed Ethernet links up to 25 Gbit/s
• Low-latency fibre connections in data centres and storage networks

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type: SFP28 (male) to SFP28 (male)
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Product colour: mint
• Weight: 0.15 kg

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector securely into compatible SFP28 ports on networking devices, ensuring the link partners support SFP28 AOC modules and the target data rate. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended by the equipment vendor. After insertion, verify link status and negotiate the desired speed on both devices according to their configuration interfaces.

Recommendations

Use this 25 m SFP28 active optical cable for direct fibre connections where a compact, integrated AOC simplifies installation. Avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep it clear of heat sources; check compatibility with your SFP28 devices and firmware for optimal performance.
