BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-MT-BO InfiniBand optický kábel 15 m konektor/konektor

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-MT-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 15m Male/Male is a 15-metre active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission over multimode fibre. Engineered to meet MSA SFP28 form-factor compatibility, this AOC integrates transceiver electronics in each connector to transmit and receive optical signals and supports 25G data rates suitable for modern data centre and networking environments.

Advantages

This active optical cable provides a compact, plug-and-play connection with SFP28 interfaces on both ends and eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. As a multimode AOC, it offers consistent signal integrity over the fixed 15 m length, low latency for high-throughput links, and interoperability with SFP28 ports that follow MSA specifications. The integrated transmitter and receiver simplify installation and reduce rack space compared with separate transceiver-plus-fibre solutions.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches and routers within racks or between adjacent racks in data centres
• High-speed uplinks and server connections requiring 25G bandwidth
• InfiniBand and Ethernet environments that use SFP28 ports and multimode fibre optics

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP28 on both ends (male-to-male)
• Cable type: Active optical cable (AOC) with multimode fibre
• Nominal length: 15 metres
• Supported data rate: up to 25 Gbps
• Form factor compatibility: SFP28 (MSA-compliant)

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-MT-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port until it latches. Ensure both network devices are powered and configured to use the SFP28 interface. No additional transceivers or fibre patch cords are required. Verify link status and negotiate speed on connected equipment; if necessary, consult device documentation for port configuration and compatibility notes.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, maintain proper airflow in rack mounts, and use compatible SFP28 ports that adhere to MSA specifications. Validate link settings on switches, routers or host adapters to ensure 25G operation and test the connection after installation in production environments.
