BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-PS-BO Aqua optický kábel 15 m SFP28 konektor samec

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-15M-PS-BO Aqua fibre optic cable 15m SFP28 Male is a 15-metre active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for 25G data transfer over multimode fibre. The cable uses integrated transmitter and receiver modules to send and receive optical signals and is supplied in an Aqua-coloured jacket for easy identification in networking environments. It is intended for use in data centres, server rooms and other high-density network installations where compact, pre-terminated optical connections are required.

Advantages

This BlueOptics AOC provides a direct SFP28-to-SFP28 connection that eliminates the need for separate transceivers and patch cords, reducing installation complexity and connection loss. The pre-terminated design minimises the requirement for on-site fibre polishing and cleaning, while the multimode optical link supports low-latency, high-throughput transmission suitable for modern Ethernet and storage networking applications. The cable is manufactured to industry MSA specifications and is produced using components selected for reliable optical performance and operational longevity.

Suitable for

• 25G Ethernet interconnects between switches and servers
• High-speed links in storage and SAN environments
• Data centre top-of-rack and aggregation connections
• Short-reach multimode optical links up to 15 metres

Key specifications

• Length: 15 metres
• Connector type: SFP28 to SFP28 (male)
• Optical type: Active Optical Cable (multimode fibre)
• Colour: Aqua
• Transmission rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Designed for short-reach data centre links

How to use

Install the cable by inserting each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on network devices until the latch clicks. Ensure both devices support SFP28 AOC connections and the desired 25G transmission mode. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, and secure it with appropriate cable management to maintain bend radius and prevent damage. After installation, verify link status and speed via the connected devices' management interfaces and confirm that any digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM) features are supported by the host hardware if monitoring is required.

Recommendations

Use the BlueOptics 15m SFP28 AOC in indoor, controlled-environment networking racks and avoid exposure to harsh environmental conditions. Maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radius, avoid repeated flexing, and verify device compatibility before deployment to ensure stable 25G operation.
