BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-F5-BO SFP28 aktívny optický kábel, 25 m, mätová

BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-F5-BO is an active optical cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends and a 25 m length. Designed for short- to medium-reach links, this mint-coloured AOC provides a lightweight direct-connect solution for high-speed SFP28 ports in data centers and network racks. The cable integrates optical transmitters and receivers into the transceiver modules, enabling multi-mode optical transmission up to 25 Gbit/s for compatible equipment.

Advantages

The active optical design delivers reduced electromagnetic interference and lower weight compared with copper direct-attach cables, simplifying tray management and airflow in dense installations. With standardized SFP28 connectors, the cable supports direct connection between switches, NICs and storage interfaces without separate transceivers, while the 25 m length covers many intra-rack and adjacent-rack interconnect scenarios. Its mint colour helps with visible cable identification in mixed cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Data centre top-of-rack and end-of-row interconnects
• High-speed server NIC to switch connections supporting 25 Gbit/s
• Storage networking links and switch-to-switch uplinks over short to medium distances
• Environments requiring lightweight, low-profile fiber connections

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connectors: SFP28 to SFP28
• Maximum data rate: 25 Gbit/s
• Optical type: active optical cable with integrated transceivers for multimode links
• Product colour: mint
• Weight: 0.15 kg

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your network devices until the module latches. Ensure both devices support 25 Gbit/s operation and compatible optical AOC modules. Verify link status via device LEDs or management interfaces and confirm negotiated speed and link health. Handle the cable by its connector housings and avoid tight bends or kinks; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode optical assemblies.

Recommendations

Use this 25 m AOC for intra-rack and adjacent-rack connections where a lightweight, low-EMI, 25 Gbit/s direct optical link is needed. Check device compatibility with SFP28 active optical modules and follow standard data centre cable management and bend-radius practices to ensure reliable performance.
